Can i just say, I suggested Bogle in December last year:

And both Cash and Bogle in July:

The video announcement team have got their work cut out here. 2 young full backs from Derby. I predict a CGI enhanced 2 minute anime of an old and clearly agitated Ram, before its stomach is ripped open from within and Lowe and Bogle emerge in derby shirts both holding the 2 swords each each from our badge. They symbolically smear red blood stripes down the white shirts and the 2 afforementioned swords then shrink and fuse themselves to the shirts forming the Blades badge.

Wilder then smashes a bottle of Peroni on each of their heads and they all walk off into the sunset laughing.
You see children, this is why drugs are a bad thing! 😅

This thread appears to have gone off topic.

Can we get back onto the main topic of Chicken and Wine please?

Good point, although I'm wondering if it might make more sense to go for an uncooked chicken and cook it in the wine, lo and behold a stylishly continental coq au vin. Abroad is very fashionable these days.

Without the wine, it'd just be coq, quite appropriate for this thread and this post in particular 🙂

For those that dont know much about Bogle (are you living under a rock) decent analysis of him with heatmaps and all that lovely nerdy stuff here https://totalfootballanalysis.com/article/jayden-bogle-2019-20-scout-report. I dont think hes as developed as Cash right now, but I do think he has a higher ceiling and for the money touted I'm much happier getting him in than id have been for spending 16m on Cash.

Think Cash is going to regret moving to Villa its such a bad tactical fit for him there, whereas we are a great fit for Bogle
Decent review that, they seem to consider him very quick and within our formation a lot of the concerns would be mitigated. His final ball needs work, but he's 20 years old so his decision making will only improve with experience and coaching.

Cant be worse than the last fullback we signed from DCFC 😂😄
Lovely kit that was, wouldn't mind seeing the same in yellow for a 2nd kit in the future.

Deal done?
Reports are breaking that Sheffield United have completed the move for Derby duo Jayden Bogle and Max Lowe at £11m.

We are not allowed to like that kind of thing anymore and Leigh Francis has apologised for creating it. 🤦

Admittedly it hasn't aged well at all. And fair play to him for looking back and realising it probably wasn't a good thing to do.

On the other hand, I still can't help but find it funny 😂

So 1 (+ half - I'll give you Cash) out of > 25 & no mention of Lowe (or Burke, let alone Ramsdale / Fodd) !?!😳😉

Cadette must be bricking it !!!!!!!
Nixon should be afraid, very afraid mind !

Reminds me of the Walker/Naughton sale by us to Spurs. Losing 2 decent wing backs/fullbacks isn't ideal for Derby but good for us. Hopefully it puts pressure on Enda and George to perform.

Announce them Wilder!!

Writing in the wall at Derby.
Cocu looks a bit clueless, selling best youngsters, massively over spent and will be on the Radar for FFP and P&S sanctions....I can only see it ending one way!

Reminds me of our relegation last time.

I'll have you know, Wilder has contacted every player on those lists and thanked me for my hard work

I would agree in terms of the lack of room for manoeuvre with incomings but their saving grace might be their academy side which has been very good over the last few years and those players are now starting to come through into the first team. The obvious ones are bird, knight and Sibley but there’s also a young left back. These might just provide the quality to keep them safe or they could crumble under the pressure as sometimes happens with young players it will be interesting to see how it pans out and this might not be the last time we come knocking for some of their youngsters.
