I understand where you are coming from. It is disappointing to miss out on our primary targets but the reality is we, along with several other clubs in the league, don’t have a lot of cash to spend this season so we have to make the best of the situation. The reality is we will have had several targets in mind for each position, so if we miss out on one we move on to the next. I would personally be happy if these rumours are correct. Seems like good value to me and all have potential for significant improvement.

Just asked my dcfc season ticket holder mate and he says Bogle is brilliant going forward but shite at the back, but that he'll definitely improve and he'll be fuming if they sell him that cheap

He says they've got no cover at LB because they've loaned their other one out so if Lowe comes as well as Bogle, could this maybe see Kean Bryan going in the opposite direction?

Wilder treats the clubs money as his own and will not pay over inflated transfer fees / wages

It’s a compliment, £10m in today’s market fit the pair is a reyt deal in my opinion. Just waiting for Villas counter offer. No need for either player to relocate either.

No problem with signing good value back up and I've been pretty relaxed and supportive of the board so far. However if they are 3 of our 5 incomings the other 2 need to be capable of immediately improving the first 11

Hope this is true - Bogle has such majestic feet & I wouldn’t be surprised to see him claim RWB as his own, even with as excellent as Furious George has been.

If the 5mil figure is true then thats a stunning deal.

Makes me worried about signing Burke though. I was really up for getting him in as a fast, physical alternative at RWB... but this move would seem to verify that we are looking at him as a striker... and everything I’ve seen of him screams that he’d be shit at that.
