personally i like this guy, he seems to have a bit more upstairs,i could,nt believe my ears yesterday when some of our fans were sayin no way was it a penalty,it was a bit soft and maybe the ref was conned, but what about the penalty quinn should have had in the first half but instead all he got was a booking. well i am so sorry to those around me who did,nt feel it was not a penalty, tough shit its the first bit of look we have had for ages and all i can say is carry on dan show us what you can do when you get the chance:)

If it was outside the box it would have been a foul so if it's inside the box it's a pen. Only argument you could have had with it is that it was more an obstruction than a clear push so the ref could have given an indirect free kick.

Radio said that Norwich got away with another blatant pen for Reading yesterday. It does not even itself up.

Concur. The more decisions that are made during the course of the season, the more variables there are, the less chance it has of evening itself up. It's simple maths.

Blatant isn't the word mate, a fucking blind man would've given it, I had the joy of using a mates ST for that yesterday, and the jammy sods pinched it in the last min yet again!

Obstruction isn't classed as an indirect free kick anymore, it was amended a couple of seasons ago - now classed as per any other foul.

Is that correct ? I never knew that really.

Whether it was a pen or not is debatable, but as we have been ref raped 456 times this season, we deserved it. I like Boggy, I like how he raises his arms to the kop and gets us going, he is a clever player (see penalty) and should start Tuesday.
Regards the OP it was not a penalty on QUinn, he fell over. Millwall are the scummiest set of arseholes this side of the universe.

It was never worthy of a penalty but I dont care :)

I didnt really have a good view of it in the ground but I've watched it back twice on telly and its very, very soft. Having said that penalties are given for that sort of thing nowadays because the game has gone soft in general. I've seen pens given for less.

Modern rules have created a lot of grey areas regarding obstruction but fans seems to shout for it almost every time a defender gets goal side these days. Soft fluffy rules create a different perception amongst supporters of what constitutes a foul.

Boggy took the spot kick really well all the same and did well when he came on. We were overdue a bit of luck anyway.

Bogdanovich, class act, everytime he comes on as sub he looks by far and away our best striker. Good football brain, looks up for the fight, can actually control a football, scores goals, stretches defences. None of our other strikers seem to be posing any questions to the opposition, so should be in from the start Tuesday and kept in until the end of the season.

More importantly I've got a bet on with a mate that he'll score more league goals than pig Morrison and he aint going to do it with the odd 15-20 minutes here and there.

As for the penalty, if they're giving them for stuff like that then football has got big, big problems.
