My dad didnt rate Bernard Shaw. He thought Graham was the best left back with Ted Hemsley second best

Liked him from the start, although had a couple of shaky moments at the beginning of the season. Very confident on the ball, excellent passer, solid tackler and of course isn't afraid of shooting with that lovely left foot of his. Please don't get injured Bob.

Am I correct in thinking he's our leading scorer from defence?

Always rated him when I saw him at Blackpool a few times and most of my Blackpool mates couldn't understand why he never got a real chance for them. They'd take him back tomorrow (along with Howard, Bash and McGahey!).

Love his attitude, a bit 'over-zealous' at times and can switch off but that's why he's playing at this level. As some have said, probably the best impact since Harley in that position but definitely benefits from Murph being in form.

Never saw Graham Shaw as far as Im aware

Thought Holt was excellent first half but vanished in the second half as County became more aggressive.

Regrettably, THAT is the problem with midgets in this agricultural Division. Even if they're good they get steamrollered and the crap referees do not give fouls.

What we need now of course, is a pair of centre-halves who are as accomplished as Brayford & Harris, to create a solid defence.

THEN, we will have the potential to stop pushing that fu**ing self-destruct button !!!

They were certainly in the England U18's together, along with Currie, Jones and Birchenall. John Harris was also their England U18s manager at the time. The only Scotsman to manage an England team at the time (I THINK)
