Apologies if posted somewhere else, but I see in NA's interview this afternoon he says Bob Harris goes under the knife tomorrow, hence it being long term out of the game. Didn't mention timescales on when they thought he would be back training

You would think then that we'd go out and get a left back on loan then?!?

You would think so, I'm not sure if it was a case of "don't know the extent of his injury" or what?

Definitely a loss for us, I think Harris came into his own a bit last season and was one of the positives. He's steady enough at the back and he looks to get forward which I always love from a full back.

I think this is possibly a recent setback. In fact it has to be doesn't it, otherwise the decision to operate would have been made sooner

If a winger can't skin his man when you're playing shit or bust and chucking men forward then he has no future in the game.

I think K Wallace's main position is left back so I'd rather see him given a chance first. He impressed pre-season.

This sounds like the injury that kyle walker had and he was out for the season. Really hope that's not the case

Ariyibi looked very decent tbf for 5-10 minutes or so (until he started getting a bit of rough stuff dished out to him).

As much as I don't rate McEveley at centre half I think he's a much better option at left-back (his proper position) than Harris.

Harris is fine going forward but defensively he had a few howlers last season, none more so than the two play-off games.

Don't worry, I got told on Saturday that we would be getting a LB in either this week or next, now this news regarding Harris has come out I know why he told me. He also said a midfielder is imminent, this source should be a reliable one ;)
