Work network blocking access??

It's David Carney now plying his trade in Uzbekistan, having gone through Twente Enschede, Blackpool and a Spanish second division team since leaving us. Perhaps he is going for the record as the player having played in most countries....

i once saw an Australian writing in to a footy magazine when i lived there asking "why do players like David Carney, a regular with the Socceroos, struggle to get into some of the poorer sides like Sheffield United?"

Because he's shite m8, as is your national team. and your domestic league is non-league standard in the UK.

if i hear "we beat you last time we played you" one more time il ask the Queen to close Australia. last time England played them, BT started up top!

Sad, they used to love rubbing our noses in it regarding the Ashes, but now they are reduced to bring up a friendly match from 2003.

One of my favourite cricket articles ever

Reading that now makes me laugh far more than when I first read after we trounced them. I particularly like the first point:

"T
hey walked around The Oval after their dominant home summer like they were God's gifts to Wisden."

What, like Australia you mean?
