I'd be glad if it is, too much messing with KO times. Makes it slightly less of an hassle for me logistically as well but not a major problem whenever they play it that weekend.

But I believe both our and the Sunderland/Hull game will be shown live, one Sat tea time one Sun dinner.

Good news that - gives us plenty of time to oil those necks for the singing
With it being on BT Sport will mean fewer people deciding to watch on TV - especially if they keep the prices at a sensible level.
Be great to get a huge crowd roaring us on.

Now for Col U this evening ...... UTFB

TV fee for hull & Sunderland is £247,500 each, assuming the fee is the same on BT then that will be serious income for united so hopefully tickets will be reasonably priced.
And agree, the Saturday early evening slot should make for a fantastic atmosphere, most of the best united games seem to happen under floodlights.
Looking forward to this one.

It was deduced on here the other day that Monday evening could be a possibility. I think the Sunderland website alluded to that as a possible timing for their match

Charlton have 17 league fixtures left. They play their next one this Saturday but do not have a league fixture next midweek cos 8 of their players are on international duty. Then they play their FA Cup match against us on 8th/9th weekend and then play their league fixture on 11th or 12th. With 7 weeks left they then have to play 15 league matches. To have the cup match played on Monday 10th would mean postponement of the 11/12th March league fixture and having to play 16 league fixtures in last 7 weeks and there would be even more congestion for them if the FA Cup goes to a replay and if they progress to the semi finals!

That is the broadcast fee for all matches in 5th & 6th round (replay amount is less). With £360,000 for the winners as well plus gate receipts of circa £150,000 after deductions and sharing with Charlton, the game could easily be worth Brayford's wages for next year.
