Should Watford have had a penalty, I couldn't see it but theit fans seemed convinced.

Burrows handballed it in our area. One of those where it was ball to hand, but his arm was stuck out in an unnatural position.

With VAR they probably get the penalty, but to be honest I have given up trying to understand the rules nowadays...🤷‍♂️

If it was deflected which is why they don't always give it even with VAR.

Watford aren't Liverpool, so VAR says no pen.

What a clip this is from the interview

If Norrington-Davies headed it, then it hits Burrows’ arm, it’s not handball.
A ball hitting the hand from a team-mate’s clearance, or bouncing up off your own attempted defensive clearance, isn’t a foul. (As far as I understand if and unless it’s changed again recently) :) .

Honestly? If that had happened against us I'd feel very hard done by. I think VAR gives that all day personally. Seems to be when hands are directly down by their side they get passed but anything else tends to be given but I agree, fucked if I know the rules anymore.

More to the point is there any more info on their keeper? I saw in shoutbox it was FT so turned the stream off which was behind then saw the comments about what happened with their keeper.

The GK thing was bizarre. Not sure what the injury was, but have heard various reports from an Achilles rupture to Ankle ligaments. Our old friend Laruci certainly didn't help matters by mistaking it for cramp, grabbing hold of his foot and twisting it. Sounds like it was a really bad injury in any case.

Cleverley said it's not an ankle dislocation or Achilles rupture, so "the early indications are positive"
