St John's Ambulance Service would still be picking up Basham's teeth if he'd not put his hands up.

No penalty. See here for reference.

100% a pen. Notice the lack of appeal from any Blade around him, Bash included.

What a pen that was though. I think Blackman would've struggled reaching that! Right in the top corner.

Doesn't matter about how many players appealed*, it's been the rules of the game since the very beginning. A reactionary reflex to protect your precious bits is allowed. The alternative for Basham would be a fucked up mouth.

*Although Wilder said it was harsh

Thanks BMan.

Great shot and excellent pull back from the bye-line, well played Evans. We don't get to the bye-line enough and I mean for years and years. Evans had that move and pass in his head even before he received the ball. credit to Thomas for being in the right position, almost impossible to defend against.

Pity he did not mention Brayford because he seemed to play really well along with Duffy and Ched.

Duffy was our best player.
He drifted in and out of the game but he was the one the most likely to make things happen.

Thought Nathan Thomas had an interesting match.
Very unpredictable, doing some great things, then making the wrong decision and looking poor
But unlike many of our players at least he was brave enough to take risks and try things.

The match changed when Ched came on and he looked a threat all second half involved in all 3 goals
So based on that I agree with the decision to make him man of the match.

Also quite impressed with Basham when he came on, we looked much more comfortable with Bash in central defense and Brayford looked decent once he was moved out to right back.

Regarding the penalty decision, just done a rough job on this but compensated for camera zoom and movement to give a consistent path...

That's hitting him square in the mush.

If you can stand in a wall, think, prepare yourself, and use your hands to protect your knackers without giving a handball away, you can raise your hands to protect your face in real-time.
