I thought it was Derby County that was playing.

Match and result apart, I thought that was a lot better than last season's highlights. Multiple replays of key incidents and goals, and a lot more "non-goal" moments shown in the highlights. It might just be because the match was on Sky anyway, but hopefully this will continue.

And it was a pen.

What's gone unnoticed amongst the mess that was yesterday's performance is that Baldock took that goal with the panache of a seasoned striker. Put him up front instead of one of the plodders and put Freeman at WB.

basham didn’t appeal for a pen .. why should he be booked for losing his footing?

1) he doesn’t lose his footing, he dives
2) afterwards he goes over to the linesman appealing for a penalty.

I thought it was our player that had got the touch back and not their forward connecting with the ball? So not offside.

Just watched the highlights again and took me a few moments to realise that we weren't playing in the white third kit.

The kit is just awful.
