Frustrating watching the extended highlights.

We should have been about 2 up in the first half.

First half I think it was O’Connell who tried to control while getting a nudge in the back. He should have gone down.

Plenty of opportunities to equalise and maybe get more.

No, he shouldn't have gone down. Referees should be able to spot a foul even if the fouled player stays on his feet. Sadly, we are saddled with useless, incompetent (being generous, and not wanting to be accused of libel) excuses for referees, who continue to believe the inaccurate media narrative about us being a "big, physical side" and make their decisions accordingly.

Lee Mason should never referee at the top level (or any level) again. Sadly though, his employers will tell him what a good job he did, and he will be allowed to continue being horrendously incompetent again.

We will get enough points playing like we did yesterday. It's all about taking your chances and we are fluffing our lines in that department at the moment but overall we are playing quite well.
