1st - O'Connell for stupidly committing himself just in their half, Lundstram for not cutting the pass out to Morison and CCV for being made to look like a mug. Mainly Lundstram for me. He started moving to cut it out and then just stopped.
2nd - O'Connell for getting caught but Blackman as well. He keeps not backing himself. He went the right way but seemed to not have the conviction to stick his hand out.
3rd - Clarke for losing his man and Blackman should have done better. Clarke mainly though.

I imagine it'll be a quiet journey back to Sheffield after that. Personally I think, that as a team we are playing with less energy than we were last year and earlier this season and have lost a bit of hunger. The work rate seems to have dropped a notch and the opposition are getting more time on the ball to pick a pass.

I thought that the other week, about Birminghams goal too, last season he'd have been tackled by two players as soon as he'd had a touch, not allowed a couple more before picking his spot.

I wonder, are we guilty of believing our own press cuttings and media hype? One things for sure, Chris Wilder will be giving them a reality check on Monday, if not tomorrow !!

JOC should’ve committed a foul for the first, really sloppy play and Blackman should’ve stood up better for the second and Clarke should’ve been marking his man better for the third, he let him go.

That ball from Fleck was unbelievable and the touch from Basham was equally as good.

Great ball from Duffy for Brooks exquisite finish for yet another assist for the Duffmeister.

It shows for me how our success has been on a knife-edge this season. We've lost Coutts and been shocking since. Lundstram for me isn't good enough at this level (he may become good enough but this is a better level than when we were in the same situation with Coutts). January is going to be so important. Lets get to January within the top 6 then procure a good centre-mid that can defend whilst pass it like the Scottish maestro does and we'll be in with a chance.

I was a bit disappointed to hear CW single out JOC for criticism when he is obviously encouraged to steam forward with or without the ball.

Just my honest opinion but I think Lundstram could do with losing a bit of timber. I think he's got the making to be a half decent player. I know it's a completely different level, but Harry Kane is now something like 8 percent body fat after losing some weight and improving his diet and he has improved even more since doing this. Maybe if Lundstram lost a bit this would help with his development and improve his speed both physically and in thought.

Let's hope this happens in early January, rather than the usual drag it out until the last minute charade of previous years, usually ending in a number of sob stories about players we were in for but didn't get.

I think he does look slimmer and a bit quicker than in his first games, so maybe it's something he is working on.

How many games has Lundstram played for us? What was your opinion of Coutts after he had played the same amount of games for us?

1st - Lundstram is alone with a striker, and his main task it to buy his team time. He does that, as Morison stops up and we do outnumber them in our box as he makes his pass. We are panicking a bit and making mistakes like Stearman and O'Connell getting into the same position. One player shouldn't escape blame for me and that is CCV. He seems to be jogging back, and his omission from the back line (I know he was joining in with our previous attack) is what causes both Stearman and O'Connell to desperately trying to cover behind Lundstram, leaving a gap centrally. If CCV had sprinted back to cover for Lundstram, Stearman and O'Connell could have dealt with other Millwall players arriving in the box:

2nd O'Connell obviously deserves a portion of the blame for the second, but I'm not happy with the other centre halves' positioning, especially Stearman. He is too high up and too far to the right, i.e. not doing enough to cover for the missing O'Connell. Even when it looks like we're going to attack, defenders should take up good position - and then have a little breather, not the other way round.

3rd. Yes, Clarke seems to be too sloppy when marking the giant Cooper. Clarke also failed to track him for a free kick moments earlier.
