Unbelievable Jeff! We were awesome tonight to a man. Super win, restricting dirty leeds to playing counter attack on their own patch. Brookes, what a lad!

Only prob was we should have won by more.

Phillips should have been sent off for them.

Great goal by Brooks and Sharp could have had a hat trick!

Cheers Bladesman what a performance!

Their keeper was the difference, just as Sharp should have had at least a couple (one saved brilliantly from their keeper). Duffy was excellent, and you can't be anything other than happy for young Brooks. Leeds went close a few times, but we looked good and better than them.

Had to add, Phillips was a red, and nothing less.

The annoying thing is he won't get a retrospective red since the ref saw it and booked him. That ref was a fucking disgrace.

Thanks Bladesman, tour video posts are a treat to us exiled Blades, well done mate.

Having watched Brook's goal a few times what impressed me was his composure. Didn't snatch at it even though he was under pressure from their defenders. Waited for the best moment to strike the ball and put it beyond the reach of their keeper.
Seems weird that a kid who almost certainly has to show id when he goes to the pub can show such a mature approach to his game.

Reminded me of jug ears goal against Spurs in the league cup semi just stroked it in the keeper was never going to change direction to stop that

what a win. wilder & players sensational that 1st half just played leeds off the park but for their Goalkeeper could have been easily 2 or 3 up. & at tough times during that 2nd half with crowd behind them few defensive scares i thinking a point is still a brilliant result. just such mental toughness from squad & calmness from brooks to take the victory

stunned at the final whistle we're top of a league with majority of the L1 squad still playing that 3mth ago majority of us wouldve been chuffed to just survive in. also i have to keep reminding yourself of calibre of opposition we doing this too with Wolves Wednesday Derby Sunderland Reading (should be forest but they were shattered) & now Leeds. this must be how leicester or northern ireland fans felt 2 yrs ago. thinking what a ride exceeded all expectations but ah this will be the week where we get the reality check but many times we dont & we keep going

1 best bits was my wednesday friend/ colleague didnt finish til 8 today. so i was singing to him before he left "we're top of the league, we're top of the league, your 14th & we're top of the league".
for some reason he wasnt so keen on joining in :D:D

He doesn’t even need money when he goes to a pub, let alone id!

That point blank save from Sharp was impressive.

Wilders reaction:

You got to love him! It wasn't good enough for him. We could and should have done better!!

No matter your thoughts on "Dinosaur Dave", Chris Wilder and him were the only two managers I've ever known (and I'm in my 40s so I'm sure there's more) who take an average bunch of lads and not only make them achieve amazing things but unite the fan base in the process. Warnock didn't do either of those things.

I love that Chris Wilder lad.

Don't worry Warnock, you'll be alright.;)

Does anyone know why Leon got booked after we scored?

Don’t want to get too picky, but I don’t think we’re giving our scouting system enough credit. Seen loads of posts about CW being a miracle worker etc, but I think our signings have been quality. Baldock, Stevens, O’Connell, Fleck, Duffy etc are all quality players, not average joes playing above themselves.

The loan signs have markedly improved as well. Starting with Ebanks-Landell last year.

Agree, and I think that’s come with playing at a higher level. I imagine now we’re up there, that will continue in January.

Everyone at the club is doing their job properly.
