As much as I love blaming the ref, even if we had scored the penalty we would have still lost the match.

I am surprised to see the officials at this level being so poor. They make some League 1 refs look good.

Sharp should have buried it anyway and the decision would have been irrelevant.

You can't seriously say we'd have still lost, because they scored 2, what a ridiculous comment considering it'd have put us 1-0 up.

We should have had a pen but Billy should have scored instead a couple of great chances.

Mendez-laing looks total class.

Blackman is a great shot stopper but needs to be more commanding at crosses.

Can't tell from highlights and we are only 3 games in but there is a huge gap of pace, quality and athleticism since we were last in this league. McCabes hope of a manager that can grind out results on a shoe string got us in the shit before, it'll happen a lot quicker this time unless he backs wilder big time or sells to someone who will..

There's 'could' about it, we should have had 2 goals. We need to be more clinical in front of goal, that's what's going to cost us this year.

Just got home. It could have been 4 nil after 30 minutes. Well done Blackman (and the bar) for keeping us in the gsme. We were painfully slow and lacking any real forward momentum. Warnock 2-0.

We got battered tonight and we were desperately defending at times. Created nothing other than thw penalty shout that was but still no way should that become a taking pint. We deserved more from the Boro game than tonight. Easily beaten, they defended at a canter. On to Saturday though now for a winnable game !

Of course it shouldn't have become a talking point, should it? Seeing as it was 0-0 when their defender thought he'd catch and then juggle a goal bound header. Who'd be so stupid as to think think that that should be a major talking point, apart from anybody with even one braincell?

Those just looking at highlights do not see true reflection really. We got bsttered tonight and it was men agsinst boys for much of it. Sorry but thats the reality we started playing at 85 mins. We had two decent efforts in stoppage time. Before that they missed chance after chance.

From these brief highlights (and from coverage of 'Boro game)we do seem to leave huge areas of the midfield almost empty.
Maybe we should try a 4-5-1 system instead of midfield being overwhelmed most (all ?) of the time.
