Yep. Lee Evans was going crackers at the Ref for a few mins afterwards.

That is the second time I have seen one not given in the last 12 months or so at the lane. I am sure there was one not given earlier in the season or towards the end of last season.

Has the back pass rule been abolished or something? The linesman was looking directly at it and did nothing as well.

The ref was poor last night especially in the second half when he got a bit yellow card happy.

Refs seem terrified of giving free kicks for back passes when the player passing is under pressure. Its getting ridiculous

I’m not certain it was actually a back pass. Doesn’t there have to be intent to actual pass it? For me it looked like it could’ve just been a poor touch from their defender rather than an attempt to pass it to their keeper.

If it was a pass it makes you wonder why the keeper picked it up as he wasn’t under any real pressure

Looking at those highlights it looks like we made some decent opportunities and did so when our play was less pedestrian than it had been recently (from my limited viewings). This has to show the way forward for the remainder of the season.
