Watching the 1st goal back looked better than I first thought and thought it was good the first time seeing it at the match. Sharp does well to keep it from the defenders in the first place and then to loose the defender an make enough room to get the shot off which he then took brilliantly. nice to see he finally has his confidence back.

Sorry to be a pedant, the word you need is lose. I do enjoy your write-ups by the way. :)
loose is when your tooth's wobbling because it's about to fall out, or a loose door because the hinge is broken etc.
Cheers fella, no offence.

Agreed. I thought it might have been deflected at first. Maybe the keeper is unsighted a bit but it's a very good goal.

(And without having a dig a few levels above what McNulty can manage atm - if he can learn though...)

Quality goals.

Seems like there was much more urgency about us.

With reference to Bradford's goal, call me old-fashioned but why on earth wouldn't you have a man on each post at a corner?

Thought exactly the same but particularly the front post.

I must say I haven't looked at the set up for corners, do we do this all the time ?

Poor goal to concede on that basis .

I watched these last night. Was hoping for highlights not just the goals to be honest. I guess when there are 4 goals in the game they dont have enough time to fit in the other chances/McEverleys headbutt?

Well now I've watched that.... what to do now for the next 5 hours :(

I very sadly had a chuckle to myself during the match yesterday. It was during the period where we had about 15/20 consecutive passes in the midfield area and the 'Ole's' were ringing out - we should be booing this surely?! The irony...

When did people lose the ability to spell the word lose ?

I mean how did this happen ? Is there some concerted campaign to put an extra o in there

My spellings not great but fuck me

Can I boo the Oles?

That sort of thing breeds complacency. Don't like it, even at 3-0.

I'm sure George is less than impressed at whoever was meant to be stood on his near post.
