For the VAR, I’m not saying there wasn’t one player off, but the freeze frame the ball has already left his foot.

It should be taken from an earlier frame.

It’s easy to comment when it goes against you, but not sure what genuine advantage the player gets by being one inch beyond his opponent in that case.

Yes you could say, well, you score, but one inch further back and the move would have still panned out exactly the same.

It feels like a very pedantic offside and had it been given as a goal I doubt Villa would make a meal of it. Then again, we had one fully over the line against them before so who can say?
