Well, more precisely, play went on whilst the check went on. Like the O’Connell one, he was confident in his decision and didn’t halt play. Does that make sense? VAR or no VAR he waves play on.

I think the lessee experienced ones maybe. On the topic of the referee today. Think he handled it all quite well. Definitely shows the potential for VAR when handled by a capable referee.

The only way Fuck VAR could have influenced that decision is to turn it into a penalty.

Wilder seems a bit fucked off with recent performances but I think he has to understand (I am sure he does) that now is the time to rotate the starting 11 more. As Swiss points out in his thread, some players are starting to feel the pace as the season goes on.

Yeah I agree. I just think he perhaps just needs to be a bit easier on the lads because most of them have been playing non stop since August.
