You can only beat what's in front of you
Yes we only beat Burton but people were saying Boro were hitting top form when beating Barnsley. Most teams look better playing easier teams

The thing some should concentrate on is Derby in 5th 1 win ahead of us who their last 5 results are 4 draws and a defeat. Why say we are faltering when theyve started floundering. Too many blades can see all of our faults but can only see other teams positives ...Don't get it

Middlesbrough have won 4 and drawn one of their last 5. 13 points from a possible 15. A good return.

However, the sides those results came from were Hull (H), Sunderland (A), Leeds (H), Birmingham (A) and Barnsley (H).

A good run, but not quite so impressive once you take into account the opposition.

As I stated about 3 weeks ago, if we finish above both Derby and Bristol 6th place is ours. I think the money and strength of Boro, Villa, Cardiff, Wolves and Fulham see them as the top 5. The final match away to Bristol is looking massive to me. We are not firing on all cylinders yet, but we are slowly coming back to form. There is a belief gathering but the boardroom unrest is certainly not helping.
