Everyone being there for the Port Vale match despite it being our lowest league attendance in living memory
Well I was there with Mrs Norks. Don't know about the rest of you buggers.
At least the loss got rid of Heath.

James Beattie ended up getting swine flu from the game against SWFC in which he scored from a low driven free kick that deflected in off the wall and went through the unlucky Chris Woods legs.

This shouldn't even be a thing. The man even had his United hip flask with him in Full Circle.
And in the book of Around The World In 80 Days, drifting off to sleep on a dhow in the Arabian Sea he writes
"The soft lapping of the waves and the steady chug of the Kelvin set a soporific mood, and the last detail I remember of the world is that Sheffield United have won 2-1 at Hartlepool..."
Better than Shakespeare that.
He's also quoted he supports the pigs as well.

Well thats lovely - except we didn't play at Hartlepool whilst he was travelling.

His journey started on 25th Sept - we had already played Hartlepool twice in the LC that season, drawing 2-2 away and winning 2-0 at home.

Based on where he was in his journey - my assumption is (assuming no artistic licence) he actually means the Blackpool match

I remember seeing later in the series in Thailand or Malaysia he was on a bus/truck/tuktuk (not sure which) and it was decorated in United stuff???

He's also quoted he supports the pigs as well.
He's always maintained that when anywhere other than Sheffield, he wants both teams to do well, but when he's home in Sheffield he's red and white. He's said this many times iver the years.

Also, don't forget he grew up in an era where he'd have likely gone to both grounds growing up, like many did.

Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist, Flea, supports the Blades. Not actually true.

The truth is that Blades supporting musician, Antony Genn, befriended Flea and introduced him to the Greasy Chip Butty Song, which he took a liking to and played it at gigs. Genn told me this himself.
Not doubting that it was Genn who introduced him to Utd but if the man himself is quoted as saying the team he supports is Sheffield Utd then he supports Utd, regardless of how he found us.

To this day - when playing at the Lane, the starting XI has to slip in and out of Paddy's boots before emerging for kick-off. For good luck.

At first, the boots were seen as a hindrance, just there, in the way... stuck to the floor. Various outsourced cleaning companies as well as the in house team could not remove them from the floor. Tests done on site were inconclusive as to how the boots are stuck. With a 50-50 chance that it is either stuck with some sort of super-dooper glue, or, it was devine intervention. Sheffield United being Sheffield United, they naturally chose the latter.

In 2014, the boots were surrounded in controversy as Prince Abdullah, part owner of the club at the time, changed the tradition. Players now had to do front flips with both hands in the boots. This resulted in many injuries and for a period of time, the boots were then placed behind a fence.

Then in 2016, Chris Wilder came in as manager and managed to pursuade the higher ups that they need to restore the tradition if they were serious about a promotion push that coming season. The fence was taken down and the boots were polished up.

This good luck charm is compatible and stacks with other good luck charm cards, such as the "Touching of the Blades badge above the stairs in the tunnel" and the "Shoot towards the Kop in the first half" charms.

Is the signing of Sabella after Maradona agreement fell through a myth or is there more to it than advertised.
I was looking for this exact rumour! I believe that we saw a prospect, but the board would have had to sanction an British record transfer fee and they weren't ready or willing to do so on a teenager.

Not sure about that ...
I understand that Fleas sister moved to England & married a blade ....
