Seriously I do agree with your point of view too. I'd pick Clark. He's always looked good when I've seen him in his natural position.

I think it highlights how we miss Norrington-Davies. Max is decent going forward but in a digging in, dog-eat-dog type game, Rhys is more your 4x4 rather than your sporty number.

Need this to be one of the games Sander shows up in. Also like to see Coulibaly back on the bench and perhaps Billy.

In the latest accounts, United owed £27.1m in transfer fee instalments. £26.8m of that was due last season. We're led to believe that one existing deal has been restructured (Brewster?) which would suggest that we will be carrying a payable of about £10m into this season.

Long story short: without an injection of equity or finance from debt we'll basically break even next year without spending anything on transfers. This is assuming we finish bottom.
Income for 23/24 £110m
Payables carried forward £(10)m
Bonuses due £(15)m*
Wages for 23/24: £(65)m**
Admin expenses: £(15)m***
Interest due: £(3)m
Total costs: £(108)m

I know we've got the guaranteed parachute payments if we do end up going down but as we saw from those latest accounts, being back in the Championship is not a good place to be financially. We really shouldn't be pulling any of that forward.
