Bit off topic, but perhaps someone can help me with something that's been puzzling me for years and once again now this has reminded me...

I remember quite distinctly as a young 'un telling all my mates whilst wandering up Derbyshire Lane for a kick about in Graves Park, that Franz Carr (after leaving the lane) was in a band and was trying to make it in music, so much so, he'd been on TV.

Did I dream this? was it a joke I didn't understand in Shoot or Match? or did it really happen?!

Palmer was previously in ELP with Greg Mike Lake.
