Still easier than average though. Average is 10 ours is 9.4.
Still, we'll beat whoever's in front of us, Europe is calling...

5 wins should do it shouldn't it............?

The best way to stay above those around you is to play them and beat them
That’s the only way you can guarantee gaining points over them
Otherwise you are relying on teams lower down the league, which is a very dodgy gamble
Bring em on

Many of the games against our closest opposition are at home (which would have been an advantage - not so sure now)

Spurs, Chelsea and wolves all have to come to Bramall Lane (or a random neutral venue!)

Out of our direct rivals for champions league (really?!?!) there’s only Man U that we have to visit away.

But home form hasn't been that big a deal for us this season, we've lost 3 more games at home than we have away, and our PPG is 1.6 for home and 1.46 away, so not that different.

And if it's like the Bundesliga and home advantage practically disappears, we might have got lucky having played more home games before the break.

Every team who has to play us in the run in will be looking at that match as being one of their toughest fixtures , and rightly so .

An alternative to that headline could read that it’s more in our hands than others.

"Six-pointers" are the most efficient way of us moving above our rivals. We're safe, we've got nothing to lose and everything to gain - let's go for it.
There's no pressure of expectation on us and there's no scary consequence of failure. We should be all over this opportunity and I can only see it as a positive.

I'd sooner face top 6 teams than bottom 6 teams.
Too right.

I can remember the storming run we went on after relegation in 1976 when we got 9 points from our last five games having only got 13 points in the previous thirty seven games.

The highlight of that run was of course the 1-0 win at Elland Road against title chasing Leeds.

Thank you Woody.

We don’t have to play City or Liverpool though, everyone else in the league are beatable.
Exactly my thoughts , which for me means if we avoid Citeh we could certainly get to the FA Cup Final and finish top 4 .

Strong sunshine on the Costa del Clyde this afters , should've possibly donned a hat .
