They clearly gambled on Premier League promotion …….crashed & burned = a lot of the investors have lost interest.
They actually gambled on Wilder
Lost
Then gambled on him again

Never chase your losses?

They're obviously weak on football knowledge, poor judges of character and very easily persuaded.

PA was lucky. He was basically piggy backing off what McCabe had done. My biggest frustration is that we always have and always will sell our best players. We never take a risk. As soon as one of the big boys turn up with a few dollars we go oh yes please. We will never be anything other than league one/champ with that mentality.
Even top 6 clubs in the premier League are selling clubs. You only have to look across the city to see stockpiling players and not buying and selling does to a side eventually

OP's record:

First claim: Robinson sold, Cooper playing through injury. Partly proven. Robinson involved in a bust-up and subsequently shipped out to stink out Birmingham's defence. Cooper's form continues to be poor which might be down to an underlying injury

Second claim: Arblaster out until 2026; Sellés safe. Looks unlikely. Arblaster looks not far off and looks more likely to return after the November international break than in 2026. Claimed Sellés wouldn't be sacked after the Ipswich match (two days before) which was proven to be incorrect

Third claim: Sellés sacked on Monday 13th September, no candidate identified: partly correct. Sellés was indeed relieved of his duties but Wilder had been sounded out during or immediately after the Ipswich match and his return was a formality. This was subsequently revised in a later post on the same thread

Fourth claim: COH committed (1st October): who knows

Fifth claim (this thread): COH wants out, Seriki frozen out: who knows. Make your minds up based on the above. I can imagine that some of the consortium will be a bit jaded by the lack of delivery on the likely promise that a change of management would cure all ills but these are experienced business leaders who know that sometimes success takes a while.
You're being very accommodating there. Most of the post taken as written and at the time they were submitted have been proven to be wrong.
Namely;
  • Robinson being bombed out, he continued to play he wasn't sold under the very end of the window bombed out.
  • Selles won't be sacked after Ipswich
  • No candidates identified yet Wilder appointed in record time.
  • Seriki frozen out and will be sold in Jan, only to be included in the next squad.
  • CoH flip flop - All bases covered, if one is true the others false.

Unlikely. A very cheap sale possibly but presumably the Americans owe money somewhere to have funded the purchase so how they square that circle likely to be tricky.
An almighty mess one way or another.
When do they sell the freehold to get some of their money back? :D It's pretty boring knowing who owns it!

What you on about I believe everything they have said. 😉

You do all realise we're heading towards being the same basket club as our neighbours. Obviously without all the histrionics, self entitlement and delusional "everyone loves us "

Mind you there would be a absolute meltdown if one of the really rich guys they've been wanking/fantasising over actually bought us .

How, when the pigs are in their most vulnerable state arguably ever, are we managing to still be really rather shit?
It's depressing isn't it. After the summer, we should be going in to the derby full of confidence and ready to smash them 6-0. Instead it'll be quite boring, Wednesday showing far more passion and energy that us, but hopefully settled by Hamer from the halfway line.

C.O.H have had enough and are wanting out, no investment interest in the U.S has been found.. they have asked Prince Adullah to put feelers out in the Middle East for a potential buyer. They are prepared to take a minor hit on their investment before the value of the club drops off a cliff.

Seriki is absolutely out in the cold.. made sarcastic comments about the training methods and then gave Wilder a mouthful back when he was given a dressing down for showing lack of effort in training. Expect him to be gone in January
"A minor hit on their investment" because the value of the club won't have decreased much in 10 months?
"Seriki is absolutely out in the cold.."

So you expect our current owners to throw away their £105m investment, when the alternative would be to trade and manage their way out of the problems created by relegation .
On the evidence thus far , neither they nor Bettis could manage their way out of a paper bag.
And expecting Wilder to shoulder the entire burden at this stage will put him either into an institution or an early grave.
Whatever misgivings I have about him , he's the only one we have that is anywhere near close to being a competent "Football man."
