The Seriki comment isn't true. He knows why he's out in the cold and its nothing to do with what he's said in training.
Given that's made up, it would make anyone question the other claims too.
Cos he aint one of wilders favourites?

He's a record for calling out either Brooks or Seriki, yet backs Cannon on a weekly basis. I

The prince is a crafty operator and it wouldnt surprise me if he has investment lined up.They screwed up from the off ! Bring back the prince
Americans got there fingers burnt and it will cost them a packet whether they stay or go ! No promotion this season and they see big losses looming .
The businessers they run arnt anything like a football club.
I reckon the prince could buy at 50 million ! COH take the loss and run.

The Prince was here for a long time and never attracted Middle East investment.

He tried, unsuccessfully, to sell us to crooks on more than occasion.

Why is he then? Just shit in training?

It's between the player, the manager, and the squad, and it's not really anyone's business outside of that.
It's not personal from the manager, he's showing consistency if anything, and I'd be genuinely shocked if the young player is bombed out of the club because of it.

Well I know wilder said Femi was ever present in a team that lost every week...which is why he was dropped initially.

But you could say the same for most of the team.

‘IF’ true then it’s pathetic that these so called entrepreneurs can’t attract investment for one of the top 20 supported clubs in the country.

As for Seriki I have heard similar in that he was one of the few who liked Selles and was apparently guttered when it was Wilder back as they didn’t see eye to eye last season.
Size of support doesn't matter any more - only TV money and/or a sugar daddy who can beat the rulemakers

I was told a few weeks ago that COH are still in fairly regularly contact with the Prince and have asked him about buying back in as a director.....the sticking (and laughable) point is that they wanted him to do so at a higher (percentage) rate than what they paid him for the club 😂

Investors aren’t stupid. They’d rather wait for our value to drop providing we’re not relegated.

The problem is our owners will be wanting near on £100m why not just buy the other lot for half the price? It’s not like they’re dedicated Blades who are desperate to own us.

No one will buy the club now. We're in a potentially disastrous financial situation and likely heading for the third division.
A more likely change of ownership might be via administration if and when we get relegated.
So you expect our current owners to throw away their £105m investment, when the alternative would be to trade and manage their way out of the problems created by relegation .

Our wage bill must be huge, we've already borrowed against a lot of future income and we'd be looking at a fire sale just to stay afloat in the short term.
Our owners have already thrown away their investment by their comical stewardship of the club. They've effectively set fire to tens of millions of pounds spent on poor players and stupid wages.

If the Prince could find buyers/partners for the Blades in Saudi as he previously claimed he would do, he would have sold up long ago…

C.O.H have had enough and are wanting out, no investment interest in the U.S has been found.. they have asked Prince Adullah to put feelers out in the Middle East for a potential buyer. They are prepared to take a minor hit on their investment before the value of the club drops off a cliff.

Seriki is absolutely out in the cold.. made sarcastic comments about the training methods and then gave Wilder a mouthful back when he was given a dressing down for showing lack of effort in training. Expect him to be gone in January
"Prepared to take a minor hit on their investment" 😅

Good effort Symon.

He isnt going to blurt it out on here if he knows anything is he! Would probably be breaking a confidence if he did.
Dont know about the Seriki rumour but if true he should just get on with trying to break into the first team, players do have rows with coaches just like players can have rows with each other.
He blurts plenty out when it suits him though

Fell out with some, ostracised a bunch more and basically told everyone they’re leaving in Jan - many of them young players who were trying to find their feet in a shitshow of a side. Not really a great motivation tool when we need to call on some of those players because his favourites are underperforming.
Cross him and you’re done.

Sunday side style

Quite funny that they spent longer trying to buy the club than wanting to actually run it.

Sounds like Micky Adams short stint lol.

“They met with him” After being recommended.

How that becomes “didn’t have an interview” l don’t know. But some like a bit of drama when knocking everything about the club. And not just when it’s a shit show like now.
It was a formality the decision was more or less made before they met with him for the er interview

I think he got the Arblaster set back right and maybe Selles getting the boot before it happened.. but these could have been lucky guesses.. and he’s got stuff wrong as well … since this thread was posted I have been assured Seriki having a bust up over training is bollocks, and he’s out for other reasons.

Does the OP have a relative whose username rhymes with drizzle?
