What she is saying is - get QUALITY to survive.
The question is how many quality players can we afford, whether it be buy or loan?
You can never have enough quality, but when the budget is limited you have to take some gambles.
For me we need 3 to start in the team in August - and I include Hendo in that 3. We also need perhaps another gem like McG, but that would be more down to luck than judgement.
We CAN afford some quality. We may have to gamble on certain players not getting injured - as an example down the left with JOC and Stevens staying fit and available throughout most of the season.
It is going to be all about choices - B'mouth got it right in Y1 and have gone on to better things.
For where our club has come from, Y1 is even more important - crack Y1 and the future could be very rosy with CW/AK et al in charge.
