No, they're all injured.

Whats your criteria for a crock?

CB - Paul McGrath or Brian Gayle - played most of their careers on dodgy knees
LB - Chris Armstrong? didn't he have to pretty much retire when he was with us, only to come back elsewhere

CF - Steve Kabba - Broken leg and ACL

Lee Morris was crocked, but mainly once he'd left us for Derby.

D'Jaffo was known as Metal Mickey for all the screws he had

D'Jaffo could count as a CF owing to his "metal back" although it never really put him out of action.

Chris Armstrong was regularly injured and alos had a particularly bad knee injury as I recall.... good player though.

I'm sure Jags went in goal a few times so I'd stick in Kenny as GK, counting his knee injury and drugs ban (if that counts as being crocked).

I considered Armstrong but decided against him because he was awesome.

Not sure if Gysbrechts is the player I'm thinking of. But basically for me a crock is someone who has played let's say less than 50% of their possible games at the blades due to injury.

So if they're here for 1 season (46 games) and manage less than 23 games due to injury, they're a crock.

Walton for example was signed and got injured before he played... crock

I think I remember Gysbrechts breaking his collarbone after playing 3 games.... after consultation of wikipedia he played 17 games in 3 years... so maybe was a crock

Paddy in goal. His injury led to Jags time between the sticks.

Thing with Armstrong he wasn't really a crock, was a brave man, carried on playing till 2011 even after being diagnosed with MS in 2009

LB Naysmith (2 games in every 5)

CF Alan Young and Steve Finneston

GK Lee Baxter (bad back from picking the ball out of the net)

AM Lee Hendrie - (emotional issues over recent money loss), Peter Heatherstone (homesick) or David Cairney (on the wrong continent)
Exactly the same front two that came straight into my mind too.

League career ended prematurely due to injury at the Lane:

GK Mel Rees
RB Ryan France
LB Les Tibbott
CB Paul McGrath
CB Brian Smith
MF Julian Winter
MF Martin Dickinson
MF John Ebbrell
MF Dane Whitehouse
MF Steve Paterson
CF David White
