They did get promoted between 2000-2010 so I guess it wasn't a bad time to support them, except for the relegations! Is the player in this photo the great Bobby Hatton? View attachment 38766

It certainly is. The three of them above him look like they were modelling for a "Crimes against hairdressing," poster

Is that Bob Latchford next to Hatton?

Here is as question,

How many of our current squad will go on to be classed as legends?
If they don't achieve anything else, who has already done enough in the last couple of years.

Paul Devlin still thinks very highly of THE BLADES.

That may be so but from where I sat it looked liked he deliberately played badly to engineer a move to Birmingham towards the end.

Either way, that performance off the bench against Watford was unforgivable.

Anyone remember that Argie lad they signed around the time we signed Sabella and he turned out to be utterly toilet?

Albert Tarantini.

Always maintained that Bob Hatton was the better striker out of the strike force they had in the 1970's Latchford, Francis and Hatton.

I remember a great letter in Viz a few years back (I paraphrase)

'I was in an Indian restaurant recently and I was amazed to find the face of Jesus in my naan bread. How foolish I felt when the waiter pointed out that it was actually former Everton and Birmingham Centre Forward Bob Latchford'.

Didn't we get Ndlovu from Birmingham as part of the swap for Woodhouse? nuddy definately a (cult) legend for me
