Quality. I had dozens of such things sewn onto my denim in the 70's (I was 11, alright...?)

One of which was in the shape of a fist containing the words 'Mighty United', to which a mate once commented, "Mighty United - is that cos they might win or they might not? In that case it should say 'Probably United' cos they probably won't..."

I have one of those V sign badges sewn onto an old jacket of mine. At Watford a couple of years ago someone jabbed a finger at it and said "Its not 1975 you know"
