Anyone else notice that when Gerrard scored against the Yanks and a pig flag popped up on the screen? Played shit since today when no less than 4 Blades flags were spotted in the crowd and we did it!!! Fucking Wednesday, relegated and then trying to bring England down... Wankers!!!!

Going back to the title of the thread, I've said for many years that watching England is exactly like watching us. The years of under-achievement, several brilliant positions thrown away by inept performances, falling down when it really matters in the big games, flattering to deceive, wrong players in wrong positions.

Coincidentally, Gerrard's first ever goal for Liverpool was against Wednesday.
