I get the feeling that this could be our season at last, little bits of fortune like Bradford hitting the bar in the last minute and MKD No7 ( who was running the game ) going off injured turned the game in our favour. Not saying it's all luck though, CW moving Basham into midfield to stop them running through us at will was tactical genius at it's best.

yeh but the problem with that theory is that both Bradford and Bolton have had more luck than us
So far this season scoring several very later injury time winners and scoring disputed penalties.

So their supporters will feel it's going to be their season.

Although the best teams always seem to be more lucky.

Sorry but it isn't luck. In Wilder we have something rare in my opinion. Most managers buy better players to make a better side. This approach is filled with danger and in the main doesn't work. Wilder gets players and makes them better. Look at Coutts, Scoogs and others. Those he couldn't improve like Brayford he shipped out quickly.

This will be our season because we have a good, balanced side. Wilson almost had it, Clough had it in his first season but fucked it up when he was given money. Adkins just never got it. It isn't that they are bad managers but we needed someone who could get that extra 5 percent out of players. Wilder is that man. We will go up hopefully because we are getting it right at last.

How often do we have to go through this? Hitting the bar, last minute winners, players going off injured, have absolutely nothing to do with luck!

It's the old adage as I see it. You spend more time in the oppositions area and have more shots you will win more penalties and score more goals. Spend all that time in your own half passing to each other then the opposite applies.
