Bits and Pieces in the Dressing Room

What don't kill ya makes you stronger old saying but we will find out soon enough.
Good professional s will be driven by this,
frustration must have been massive in the dressing room. The players know they were the better team on the night Wilder will have them ready for Boro on Wed.
I really don't like that saying...I remember Gary Speed coming out with it many times...I think it's very poor and is a load of nonsense. "What doesn't kill you doesn't make you stronger", utter tripe and senseless thing to say I'm afraid. Everytime I hear someone come out with that I despair of the logic and it's nearly always used as an excuse. Sorry Finaly, nothing personal mate, but I really hate that saying...

Anyhow...

I agree that we should be extra-fired up for Boro' now on Wednesday night. Which is just as well because they are the one team in this division who can claim to have beat us comfortably so far. So, it will be a good test and every ounce of spittle and venom will be needed - oh and...a bit of concentration in the later stages too perhaps?

I just hope Boro and Reading feel the wrath of this draw!
6 points and a better goal difference at the end is all we need.
Let's just hope we can eke out 90mins playing like we did at Villa, because that was the best, I think ive seen us play this season, if not since Dave Bassett was gaffer!?!

I noticed that when Billy came off on Friday Wilder didn't even look at him
I noticed this too. Thought it was a bit strange considering he'd just got a hat trick which had taken him past the 100 goal mark for the club they both support.

I was joking but it definitely happened. Billy even looked towards Wilder as if to say “did I do well?” and got blanked. Wilder obviously uses the “treat em mean” approach to man management where Billy is concerned. It’s working if so.

Nietzsche. It's about resilience.

I’ve a feeling that boro will feel the wrath of some very pissed off players on weds night!!. Reading will also get the same treatment.
The players will have aired their views in the dressing room on Friday night and they’ll be fired up for the next 2 home games.

I would have not have expected anything but a strong reaction in the dressing room after the game on Friday. Lets hope it serves as massive motivation for Wednesday and Saturday.
