Surely it's a personal thing, I understand folk being cautious about it but equally I understand why people want to enjoy the moment, also why do people keep saying "only we could mess this up" , " it's always us" or "only in S2" I suspect every other clubs fans in the land, possibly the world say exactly the same sort of bollocks. Totally agree mate, but there's a difference between your positive, looking forward to it outlook - and then starting twatty threads that could hire us on the arse later, like some are doing.

We’ve earned this - and I’m damned if I’m letting the thought of being ‘cautious’ in the way of me having a bloody fantastic time winding the fans who’ve given us hammer for 7 or so years up on our way to seal promotion back to the Premier League.

We’re the only fanbase in the world who would be pleading for caution from the stands on the lead up to a game in which you play rock bottom, already relegated fodder at home. Leeds forum would be a complete carnival, Pork Talk would be, every other forum would be

That is a very strange way of viewing your fellow Blades. It is remarkable how our fans stuck with the team through 6 years of League 1, which contained some highs amongst a whole load of mediocrity and dross. How many clubs would have kept a similar following when finishing mid-table in League 1? The last 3 seasons have been a joy to watch, and there is little need to get at people who are being understandably cautious after so many dramatic failures.
As a matter of interest, how many of us got behind the team as we kicked off after the Millwall equaliser, in an attempt to drag United towards the Kop for a final attack? And how many moaned and complained about 'bottling it', or walked out? Those are the moments when support is needed. Saturday will take care of itself.

There’s a difference between being confident and being cocky. We have a great chance of going up and a team and manager who know what they’re doing. We should be able to do this and I’m confident we will. Could it go wrong? Yes, it’s football, strange things can happen. Is it the most likely outcome with this team? No, we shouldn’t judge them based on what previous teams have done.

It could be tense on Saturday, it could be like Spurs last night. We may have to outwork them until they lose a bit of heart. When push comes to shove, when their muscles are aching, when they need to really dig in - that could be the time when we finally get the breakthrough. So no panic if we don’t get an early goal. They must be feeling pretty flat at Portman Road, fans looking for someone to take the blame. Everyone’s probably feeling like jaded ‘has-beens’. The draw at Brum sent them down, just before we played Millwall. They don’t appear to be the trickiest of teams.

We took apart Hull City on Monday afternoon, whilst Leeds slipped on a banana. And we was cheering on the blades, while David scored two goals. With the fans clapping and the players lapping it up, we finally sang up every song we knew, it got louder when we found out Norwich had drew.

Ipswich will play with freedom and freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose, and Ipswich haven’t got nothing left to lose, so let’s just wait and see. Feeling good is easy, lads, when we’re banging in the goals. David and Billy and that is good enough for me. Good enough for me and David McG.

Put it this way - we have nothing to fear in the Ipswich side. So we should have the freedom to play our normal attacking game which this season tells us gives us our best chance of winning the game.
