I've a long history of having some pints in London Bridge, usually before the fast train started and having a beer break in London en route back to Canterbury. Often chatted to all sorts there and the common view is London Bridge pre match is for kids posturing in £500 coats, with a few older saddo's, in front of the the foodie tourists and getting a guaranteed Police escort on a train with the chance to pretend you're on Millwall's manor looking naughty.

If that lot wanted to mix it proper stylie then walking to the ground or staying on the tube a few stops more would find something to video (if that's your bag) and brag about in small places and at school. Just posing that's all. I'm also sure most criminally intent individuals wouldn't want their boats on any social media..

Yeah there will be over hyped nonsense about the 25th, I'm sure a few sirens will be heard, a few posers in safe places will posture and cause angst, but it isn't the Spartak/Dynamo ultras bringing Putin's war to Sheffield. Just a bunch of elocutionally challenged no marks from the depressing concrete focussed cultural desert that is Birmingham (Black Sabbath and Austin cars obviously being notable high culture exceptions)..

Don't give em the airtime and focus on how Wilder is going to gloat over Che Adams when we stuff em..

That was against us at The Lane mate. Still worse he knocked ‘em past Hansbury, on loan to us from them.

Wouldn’t happen under Tufty and One Knill...

Cheers Pinch, had one of my moments there when I wrote that!

I lived in Birmingham for three years in the 1970's. I think it's a great city. Second biggest city in the UK but seems to take a back seat behind London and Manchester. IMO Manchester's a scruffy dump and overrated.

Bang on. I lived in Surrey Quays for 3 years and the Spoons down there was always a target for away fans to ‘take’ if they braved taking those extra few stops on the Tube.

The taking of that pub was the equivalent of taking a Toby Carvery. Full of shirts and families (rough families but families all the same) and old blokes. Leeds did it whilst I was there and I remember they banged on about it for ages after but in reality they did fuck all.

Now West Ham and Millwall....sheesh. That day was unreal.

Didn't Millwall say we are one of few clubs to recently go down there and actually try anything. The incident at Kennington in around 2010?
