I wondered us rejecting the bid for Sharp meant we were trying to hold out for more money or if we wanted to keep him. From his comments it sounds like the former:

"I'll speak to Sheffield United and we'll take it from there. I know they wanted a bit more than was offered, but until I've spoken to them I'm not certain what is happening."
A bit disappointing really, I'd still like him to have another shot in the team. And if we do sell him £1m is the least we should accept.
