He looked a lot better when N'diaye came on. He was quite isolated when it was McAtee & Brooks playing off him as they weren't close enough.

Our attacking threat was so much better when N'diaye & Berge came on. God knows what we'd have done without them two if they were sold in Jan! Games like last night make you realise.

One thing Asaba said last night during the first half and second, when spurs had possession and the defence cleared the ball in the air was this.
"Billy, is telling them where he wants the ball playing, in the channels, where he will chase it down, and maybe get a free kick, at the moment the defence and midfield are putting it up in the air to him, where he has two defenders out of the land of the giants shadowing him."

Sharp finally gets the opportunity to play at Wembley for his boyhood club.

Fantastic that he will get to have that moment considering all he has done for us, and taking into account that his opportunities to play will become even rarer in the future should we win promotion.

I have everything crossed that he can grab a spozzy goal for us.

Billy Sharp is only old dependent on your own age. If you're 16 you'll think he's old, but if you're 61 you'll think he's young. If you're 35 you'll think he's just a bit younger than yourself, but if you're 31 you'll think he's just a bit older than yourself.
I am relying on Billy to get a contract extension as I am 36 in July and currently he is the last player in the squad that is older than me. Still a legend

He's out of contract at the end of the year. Make no mistake he's a living legend I love him to bits but I dont think his contract will be or in all honesty should be renewed. Sorry if this goes against the grain of opinion but I dont think he offers anything anymore. That said it'l be a sad day when he walks off the bramall lane turf for the last time. Needless to say he deserves 28,000 standing up and applauding

Time to bring back a testimonial, I know back in the day it was considered the thing to do as a retirement pot and Billy isn't going to be needing that but I think it would be fitting in Pre-season to play either Scunny or Donny at home as a charity testimonial to Martin House Hospice or similar and celebrate a true blades legend career.

Totally this. ^^^
I'm 46 but had a 17yr old lass wanting a bit of me. Her mum was same age as me, 46. Her dad was 54. Mum didn't mind but dad was going crazy. I tried to explain that if you took the mums age off the dads that leaves a 22? year difference, so what's the issue with me being 46 and her 17? ? bar 34yrs? and if you add that to the daughters age the father shouldn't have chased me down the road with an axe. We now have a child 9yr old together, and the daughter and mother have moved out.
