But I agree that being defensive doesn't suit us, it never has

Some teams just seem to soak up pressure upon pressure upon pressure when things aren't going quite to plan, and they can come out of it relatively unscathed

With Sheffield United, it doesn't matter who the manager is or who our defenders and goalkeeper are, give the opposition 5 minutes of solid pressure on our goal and they'll score. Every single time without exception

You listen to the radio and when the commentators speed up their commentary and get a bit louder when our opponents are having a lot of the ball. YOU KNOW IT'S COMING.
And it always does

That's why our best form of defence is attack, Wilder seemed to understand this, but now we need better forwards, we need better attacking midfielders. In other words the most expensive type of player on a football field at whichever level they are playing at.

And guess what, we have to do without them, surprise surprise

I agree after last night, start Duffy, Sharp n Mcgoldrick, and Leonard next to Fleck.
I'd also bring back Stearman in the middle, and fuck Stevens off and play Bryan!
Woodburn for Duffy on 60mins when we're 2 up!!

I was saying last week when we need a striker, if only billy sharp was 5-10 years younger we would be in the pound seat, but to be honest his recent perfomances in last 4 games. he playing like hes 10 yrs younger, dispelling the myth in career that he only a league 1 player & struggles in the championship

It's very unprofessional to tweet your husband's moans all over Twitter. CW is a brilliant professional football manager.. without 20 million a player to buy & massive wages offer ...all of us on here are not.... we are amateurs with our daft opinions ..as our job isn't on.the line ...so give this excellent manager the respect he deserves. He chooses who he wants to fulfull each role ....he gives instructions to how it should be fulfilled. e.g. you say you are a Blades supporter but criticise CW in his choice of player in each role. If you don't agree with his choice of Leon ...when fit ....to do all the hard work CW has asked him to do.... then as a genuine Blade just shut the f**k up & stop whingeing. CW doesn't need it. I back our manager & support our manager in every decision he makes about who will fulfill each role as he wants it to be fulfilled. If you keep disagreeing with Chris & continuing this childish amateur moaning & groaning as not a clue about Pro Football ....with no experience or talent as a Pro Football club manager.....you are just showing yourself up.
