Own up, whoever did it. I have just driven down Bocking Lane, and the junction with Sharpe Avenue has been vandalised. It now reads Billy Sharp Avenue, and has been decorated with Billy and Blades pics and slogans. Anyone got a photo to put up? I had a bloody great lorry behind me, and didn't dare stop. The city is ours..

And at least the Star is well onside. Today's supplement on the Star Annual Football Awards carries the headline 'Year of the Blades', and is almost entirely Blades-based. The 4 pages contain just 1 picture for S6, and that is of their player of the year (insert comment as appropriate), who has today left the club... Happy days.

It's one of those roads around there that Tommy Hoyland had a newsagents. Plus David Munks lived somewhere around there.

And the person who did it put a sticker on the 'e' in Sharpe to avoid the common spelling mistake Billy Sharpe.

I had a quick nosey at the LJS Cup that he set up today in Handsworth today.
What a fantastic representative this guy is. Lovely bloke, huge heart and brilliant with the kids.
We all know how good he is, we all know how much he loves his club and hates Wesnesday etc etc but the way he leads by example and supports the community is just second to none.
