Very over exaggerated the amount of time your saying he'll be out for.Ankle ligaments is up there with the worst injuries footballers get
He won't play till Feb, maybe March
This is a serious blow for him and for us
And the worst part....... we're just getting started
Confident Ekkeh can achieve plenty more great injuries in the coming weeks
Agree , even Warnock commented on that on Tues saying saying they’ve brought in quality but are a striker short .Definitley need a striker.
We can't rely on what we have.
Know Neil rambles on but surely that’s a new record for him … 24 hours at least !Agree , even Warnock commented on that on Tues saying saying they’ve brought in quality but are a striker short .
We definitely can't afford any more players unless Sander goes....
Yes I’d agree with this if we got a decent bid in say £10-15m based on potential. I definitely dont think he’s currently worth either of those amounts, but then you see the MGW fee after a decent season in the championship & you think what could he be worth one day.Time to cash in on Jebbison maybe?
If we can encourage bids from the likes of Everton that would fund the signing of a more experienced proven striker.
We can always include a few add-ons in case Jebbo turns out to be a world beater.
But it’s a pivotal season for us and at the moment we need a proven first choice starter, not potential sat on the bench / in the stands.
If a new striker gets us promoted it will return our investment ten-fold.
He cannot be irreplaceable ! At some time soon, probably very soon, he will retire and be replaced.Sharp is irreplaceable as the captain and the main goal getter. Neither Brewster or McB or any of the new signings can put his numbers up. If the injury is as bad as they say they need to bring in another striker.
Ask Liverpool what the problem is and the solution !Injuries are a bit of a joke with this club something is wrong and they need to get to the bottom of it.
We seem to get one back then another falls injured they can't all be made of glass.
We don’t need strikers where we’re going
Well, look what happened last season,Brewster got injured the Saturday before transfer deadline,Grabban the day after,Forest signed Surridge on deadline day,we made do with what we had and got hit by further injuries,Grabban came back and got injured again.
Our last minute chance against Forest fell to a make do forward, that could have been an experienced forward actually putting it away, but we never gave ourselves the chance at that,Forest go up.
Are we going to make the same mistake again?
