Just been watching the BBC programme about Bill Shankly. There’s so many similarities with Chris Wilder I firmly believe we have a true genius of a manager.

First 'Wilder the new Clough' now 'Wilder the new Shankley'. I get your point but he is the original Chris Wilder'.

I make the comparison because they’re managers who can take a club beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.

I don't mean to sound cocky, but I think he's closer to Herbert Chapman mesen. Let's see... both Blades, both managed Northampton, both transformed (or are in the process of transforming) the English game.
