I am not by any means claiming to be the biggest blade, but, I am tonight claiming to be the biggest hater of the pigs, yes I have had a few and I was loud in my ante Wendy shouting in the pub tonight, a good laugh as well but hiw fuckin lucky were they, I know in the morning I may be a little embarrassed, but right now I hate em more than I love my blades.

I've just done the equivalent, lost my temper with one of my Wednesday pals who was only winding me up on the phone this morning ( he asked me if Wilder had ever played for us and who he had managed and in which leagues before Northampton). Last time he managed to wind me up was the 'Ched season', in truth I've had an easy ride for years. All this banter goes back to Monday mornings at school back in the early 60's.

He's a Wednesdayite who bought himself a half season ticket recently and once he'd realised they meant business, that after many years supporting from his armchair.

It is so, so hard to take. Do you know we hold the record number of play-offs without winning through (8), record number of lost P/off Finals (4), add to that all those lost cup semi-finals, close last day relegations, Tevez scandal etc.

Wednesday have the remarkable record - one play-off, one promotion. Then you watch Brighton's best players getting suspended and dropping like flies, is there a God? Which gods do Thais worship?

I've always hated them as much as I've loved united.
I suppose it's a vicious circle, hating them has made me a bigger blade- if I lived in a one club city like Leeds then maybe I'd be a different type of fan. Right now I'm a hate filled, bitter, frustrated one- I never said it was enjoyable.

So I put the question, who is the biggest Blade? Some would say Tony Currie but for me no one comes within a million miles as Wilder closely followed by Billy Sharp

As a fan there is lots of "bigger" blades. Staff wise surely Currie isn't even close.

Jess Ennis Hill obviously, always see her on the kop, got 90k's worth of loyalty points because she's been supporting the blades since before she was born. Being such a loyal supporter she deserves to have a statue in the car park ansthe ground named after her not just the bramall lane end for a couple of years. But all piss taking aside the biggest blade I've ever met was Shred.

Don't be embarrassed we all have reasons to hate them . I have loads of reasons to hate them , but the biggest is, one Christmas I got a brand new Sheffield United sports bag made out of canvas with just a plain Sheffield United logo on , not these posh ones you get today and was the only present I got that year as my parents did not have lots of money. First day back at school after the holidays carried it with pride and hung it up on my coat peg only to return on the final bell to see about a dozen Wednesday fans kicking it all around the cloakroom for 10 minutes then ramming it down the bog, then bending my fingers back and told to say "Wednesday are best". Never did though. Still hate them but my love of the Blades outshines all the crap I took off that lot.
