The game yesterday highlighted that our next signing should be a big nasty fucker who can upset the rhythm of the top teams (especially away from home). Not sure yesterdays game was a game for playing 2 forwards, and a box to box player would of been a better option with Carruthers/Duffy just behind Clarke/Sharp (in my opinion obviously). Decent second half though, and if it wasn't for that cheating prick of a linesman then I'd be feeling a lot better this morning.

So we need a big nasty bastard with pace who can score 25 goals in Championship reading a few threads on here. Sounds cheap.
This.

In an ideal world I'd part exchange Lavery Hanson and Clarke, chuck a couple of million quid in to the mix as well, and get this striker we need with the majority of the attributes you mention.

Noel Edmunds still doing Swap Shop ??

Can you name one ?
And who would play if he got injured ?

Suggestions INTERUNITED?

Knowing what we need is one thing, but knowing who is a far more meaningful comment.

Not sure mate. The cost of players nowadays seriously limits our options, but I'm hoping Chris can pull another rabbit out of the hat. At some point we may have to start looking overseas, as the cost of English players is prohibitive.

Maybe we can just send a begging letter to the fans and ask them to crowdfund the transfer fee. You get your money back when football is played on the moon.

We would have Sharp Evans and possibly Brooks on top. 4 is enough. Especially as we could chuck one of the U 23s in (Wright ?) in an absolute short term emergency in addition. Could always keep Hanson ;)

As far as names is concerned, there are loads to choose from. It's prising one of them away, given our wage structure that would probably be the most difficult part.

I see a PL loan on the horizon.

Hanson would have made a very positive contribution yesterday .

Unfortunate that That clearance fell to Bash who showed the reason he's not a center half, his heading is not his strong point. But all in all we weren't that bad and in the end were unfortunate to lose ..

That's all that game needed as a summary, have a like.

Ok have a go pal, but I'm getting on abit now, n the running park, well, but il try, 3k a week ok?

We need an athletic bastard in midfield to break things up. He needs to be somewhat nasty although as a minimum he should be at least a bit of a dick.

We need a pacey striker so that we have someone who can run really fast in behind defenders and open teams up. This striker also needs to be at least mixed race. Doesn't have to be nasty.

We need another centre half who can do centre halfish duties such as winning tackles and heading footballs. I'd like this one to be nasty although I'd take relatively unpleasant.

It wouldn't have been a problem if Blackman had either stayed on his line or cleared out everything but he got caught in no man's land. Not surprising given his age and lack of experience at this level. Mistakes happen. I've seen worse from PL defenders and keepers this weekend.

Name a player we could bring in for a couple of million who would play well every week and score goals

I suspect Wilder will be asking Mitchell that this morning. Again.
