What I find odd about this is having eaten in many of his chain of restaurants I have never crossed this particular dish. I'll be dining there this week in Aberdeen. Oddly enough its also well priced. 0 out of 2 for that particular stab in the dark then.

...don't think I said Oliver serves eels in his chains did I?

All about opinions isn't it...I think his restaurants are poor value, but there you go, each to their own ...

I can eat jellied eels, with lots of pepper and vinegar. Although,I prefer Gerookte Paling (smoked eel) which is delicious.
