Thanks for the genuine question.
I guess I agree with the majority - wasted talent.
He's probably what we've been missing all season, someone who can drive forward from Midfield with the ball, similar to the Duffy role.
I guess he didn't put the effort in during training, so didn't earn a place.
A shame, as he potentially could have made a difference to our season, but he let's team after team down.

Thanks for offering your opinion and I respect it, even though I don't agree with it.
I assume you've reported one or more of my posts to try and get me 'cancelled', as is often the case in today's world when some people don't agree with other's views.
I've only questioned why people are all emotional and acting all irrational (Boycott the games/Protest/I'll never go again), when I firmly believe the right outcome has been achieved, especially considering the teams performance since the end of last season.
No one seems to want to answer that question and just cry out "B b b but he was one of our own".
Like I've said previously, he's done an incredible job over the last 4 years, but he's left us a laughing stock this season. All our players are playing worse than last season and that can only be down to the management. Maybe he lost the dressing room and they decided not to put the effort in. Would be easier to get away with when the fans aren't on their backs.
I personally don't believe he would have got us straight back up with this same squad next season and feel a change was needed to freshen things up and try to get these expensive signings performing.
I'd throw as much as possible salary wise at Benitez and failing that, get Eddie Howe in on a long term rebuild contract.

... while insulting people who disagree with you, and their parents. Not many on here have a problem with opinions they don’t 100% agree with, but who wants to be insulted (emotionally and irrationally) by someone who pops up out of nowhere?
