Better transfer window than our rivals?

Out of Anel and Souza, I'd pin Anel as the one we could more comfortably accommodate losing from an on-the-field perspective. While we might not have the most sublime set of centre backs, they'd be decent enough at Championship level. Get 10-15m for him and we can fund the remaining areas we need to strengthen I think.
still think we sell both if good offers come in worrall could be part of souza deal

Yeah we definitely sell both if the offers are right. What I mean is that given the choice, I'd probably sell Anel and keep Souza

Anel does look like the easiest to lose now after the Gilchrist and Souttar signings. We’ve got JR and Trusty for the left side if we are going 4231

wednesday havent brought anything like the quality we have this window but of course their fans think rohl can do nothing wrong and their all top signings idiots 🐷

My Wednesday neighbour came out to tell me Osula has left this morning and that our new signings were crap.

Not where to start on that one.

tell him weve got a free transfer coming in that will blind this ugbo guy that their creaming themselves about and spending 3m on and that theyve not a cat in hells chance of finishing above us this season their 1 bad injury away from bannan and being in another relegation battle

Our starting 11 is top draw and the 20/1 for us to win the league looks a steal

But if we sell Anel/Souza I would worry plus any injuries we are Daniel Farked

It's the possible loss of Arblaster and Hamer that concerns more than new arrivals

If Rak-Saki (loan) and Campbell (free agent) come that's only 3 loans out of 9 signings
Campbell wasn't so obvious earlier when I wrote this.
Souttar, Gilchrist, Rak-Sak* plus two more loans inevitably.
That'll be 5... Will we sign 10 overall? Probably not.

Think we've had a good window in terms of signing what/who we needed to sign, while Rak-Sakyi and Campbell coming in will give us some depth/competition in attack.

Still need a GK and ST.

Would like either some cover at CAM or for Marsh to step up and have a good season, even if he just comes off the bench in most games.

If Souza goes I would like to see us move for someone like Grimes or McLean. If Anel goes I would like for us to move for Worrall or Mepham to replace him.

As for how to compare it to the likes of Leeds, Burnley and Luton. I'm not sure because while we've signed good players, our circumstances aren't the same as theirs.

Turn it on its head and how would we feel if they had signed Moore, Souttar, Burrows, O'Hare,Gilchrist ect. Sick as a pig and as much as they try to look not be bothered they are shitting themselves.

Expect a keeper in the very near future, Rak-Sakyi and Campbell, and if Forest do come for Souza, will we deal with Worrall and or Bowler in the opposite direction???
Will Wilder go for another midfield enforcer, thats a bit less of a twat???

We have brought in quality for this level. But I'm worried about the squad depth. Maybe it will be a positive as it will give some of the promising youngsters some minutes.

I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing the likes of Peck get occasional games.

He looks quality and we do need some room for youngsters to break through.

I’d sell both.

You’d get Worrall for a tiny fraction of what Anel could fetch.

I’m also far more interested in having Hamer and Arblaster as a midfield two and a genuine proper wide player for the left, then someone who sits and points.

Say you did get 30m for the pair. We’d be financially sorted for the rest of the season and beyond.

You’d get Worrall for 3-4m and then just have to source a winger to replace where Hamer was. I do hate to replace perm with loan but as last resort, pushing for players like David Brooks would leave the team
looking very tasty, especially when you add to Rak-Syaki and Cooper/Rushworth.
