was it a cross or a shot, cause it looked like a cross gone wrong but i dont care :D

Just watch it on TV when you see it.

HE DID MEAN IT AND IT WAS QUALITY.

If you say different so be it!

I cant think of anyone that have scored a better one.

from my seat on the kop i must say it looked like a cross but from the camera angle its a brilliant shot

that goal equaled jags the other wekk, to hit it first time and from the angle and bend it round the defender, jeeze it was amazing!

awesome goal. Would be talked about for weeks if it was scored by ronaldinho

i was so appy with the score on sat it was a rite gud match every1 went crzy were i was site i got dragged all over lol

It was most definitly a shot, we sit right in line with where he was, he looked up and wow, christmas comes early.

One camera angle shows just how special it was. You can see CKR's line of vision which was completely blocked by a defender but he still managed to bend it round him into the net. A great goal, fully intentional, no doubt about it.

Was Dellas' goal against pompey his first for us? cause that was pure class, and in injury time.

03/10/99 - Sheffield United 2 - 1 Portsmouth

Dellas did indeed score his first goal but on 85 minutes, ten minutes after he came on.

This was possibly the best goal ever scored at the lane. Pure amazing.

Great goal, definately a shot and he looks like quite a player. Should be in from the start next week, infact the midfield could do with a total shake-up but i doubt that will happen.

Think it's gotta be 5 in midfield against Man Utd so he could well play out on the left wing with Quinny going back into the center :)

I think the Dellas goal was more about power.

CKR's was a very clever goal and very precise.

Tony Field against Ipswich, SF! Beat 6 to score!
Or the one Steve Wigley got, 30 yards out top corner.

I've got a cutting somewhere from the program on the Field goal......I'll scan it in later and put it up.

Was it Fileds first goal though??

I'm pretty sure it was. Certainly his first league goal. Mind you he only got about 15 in his entire time here. I was stood on the John Street for that game. My Dad had been calling him a useless pillock all season to that point :D

Oh come on, top corner, 30 yards winner. DINK DANK DO

Not slagging the Dellas goal at all.....

It's hard to choose when the goals are so good!

:)

I think I'm one of the long-haired little gits on the fence behind him as he scores SF :D

I was on the Kop behind the net with about 12 of my mates from school.

And yes........long hair! :D

Happy days!
