No need to apologise to us for being victorious.
You deserved the result and were the better team on the day and especially the second half.
We set out to contain and did so quite well but at some stage we needed to win the match. We never came near doing that.

Proud how most blades handled defeat, but so pissed off with the result its untrue. You cant let the opposition miss their first 3 penalties and go on to lose. All the best for next season, your fans were good to talk to.

Me & Ken Jnr walked through the lot of em when they were streaming out after the pres
(we got kicked out by the stewards and were not allowed to witness the presentation)
Not one snidey comment or any level of aggression towards us and we were both wearing "colours"
A few spoke to us to commiserate and state that we would walk the division next year.
We responded that we believed the team would be unrecognisable from the one this year (apart from the dross we cannot shift on mega wonga for their last year of contract) so that was highly unlikely as a scenario.

Overall a good bunch of people who I hope will be rewarded with a decent campaign in the Championship
Nothing arrogant about them - just proper football fans who have empathy because of what has happened to them in the past.
