best team Ive ever watched at the Lane

but the balance of the team is spot on
every ying has a yang, we can move in any direction , forward left forward right and defend as a unit
the passing from all is crisp and sharp, as always never the full 90 , that rarely happens , but for 65 to 70 minutes we dominate the play, and just look efficient and alert
I cant remember looking forward to games as much since TC was at his peak
But this team carries more threat and more strength

We are on the brink of a golden era if we can maintain the esprit de corps we have just now

I first watched us in the late sixties and I've never been more excited about a Blades team than I am about this one.

I think we all have some of that feeling but it's a long season ahead and we've played 10 games. Yes we did well last season but so SUFC should,it was L1.

Watching games at present is pure joy. Not unless we maintain it for the season should we judge the squad at this level which is still one step lower than we have been before.

I am fighting against thoughts of promotion myself. It's daft as yet. Just daft, isn't it?! Yes it's daft but these supposed quality teams are looking ordinary as yet and we have loads of quality cover in the squad. Stop it fgs

I first watched us in the late sixties and I've never been more excited about a Blades team than I am about this one.

I was just as excited in the '60s as I am now - but now I'm far more impressed with the sheer quality of the football played.

I think this is the most professional and effective Blades team since the early 1970's but we don't quite have the individual brilliance of some of that 1970's team. eg Currie, Woodward, Reece, Hockey, Badger. to name but a few. However, that will come and the great thing about this team is the total sum is greater than that of its parts.

As many teams thats come up from league one in the past decade have gone on and up to the prem as have fallen back into league one
managed properly any team can get through this division
we should know we set a precedent in 89 /90

He’s recently signed a contract extension here until Summer 2019
And he seems a grounded down to earth lad that prefers football over money.
Hence why he’s agreed to play for Wales instead of being greedy and holding out for England.

So there’s no panic to sell him in the JTW.
We can easily wait until the Summer 18 and we’d still get millions.

So if we don’t get promoted this season if he’s still impressive then I reckon he’ll be sold in the Summer next year.

Even more so now that he's got called up for the Wales squad.
But what can you do ? The Premier League is absolutely soaked in money.

I can't see one of the Premier League strugglers coming in for him because they wouldn't want to waste money that could be vital to their survival on a young kid.
I hope that if one of the big clubs come in United put a price on him that would make Abramovich and Sheik Mansoor baulk.
It's not about what he's realistically worth, it's about what he's worth to United losing him, this is something that United have never been able to grasp in the past.
