If they'd just let Bruno Ribiero play more we'd be better than Bayern now...

Jean-Philippe Javary. I know everyone makes jokes about him akin to the one above, but I genuinely remember him putting in a brilliant performance at home. Tyrone Thompson too I recall playing out his skin against Ipswich in the Cup.

Phil Kite made 11 appearances in 3 years. (don't get me wrong also had 5 loan clubs in that period to)

Traianos Dellas.

None of the plonkers masquerading as managers had a clue with him, and he spent most of his time at BDTBL picking up arse splinters!

Peter Duffield or Pesch - both able to come on and poach vital goals (or win and convert penalties in Duffield's case)

Should have built a team around him. He was awesome against Coventry in the cup

Didn't spackman fancy him as the McGrath spare defender in his back three? Although when McGrath retired I think he neshed actually playing him? I missed most of that season as I lived away so can't really remember. I think him and Vas were signed by the club tho rather than any manager, in a kind of 'look what we've bought, please play them' kind of way.

I always thought John Reed was going to be a good player until he got a bad injury.

It has to be Tri Dellas though. Best player never to be rated by 3 different mangers. His goal against Portsmouth one of the best ever seen at the Lane.
