Beautiful.
I like how it's just red and white stripes
I like how there's no advertising on it.
No manufacturer, no sponsor, no league badges, sleeve sponsor or back sponsor or anything else.
None of those things are Sheffield United, they're just extra redundant crap added on top (yes, even the premier league badge. We know we're in the premier league there's no need to remind us).

I think our current badge is better than the coat of arms because it's simpler, more readable and it represents only us, but other than that this shirt is all that's ever needed really.

I fear sports designs are slowly turning into F1 cars, with rubbish plastered all over them, like the boards the managers stand in front of in the post-match interviews, and I think some fans have become so desensitized to advertising that they have accepted it. I probably sound like an old moaning codger (i'm 34) but I just can't stand the infestation of advertising on every single surface which can catch a human eye.

And to anyone who says well those things bring money into the club, well that's great and all but I would guess that the club would survive without it (talking about shirt sponsorship specifically). If it were my decision I would honestly rather do without and just find revenue elsewhere or simply accept it as a consequence of wearing a shirt that is SUFC and nothing else. Appreciate I may be in the minority with that though.

I've still got that shirt and it's in pretty good condition with the badge, sponsor and umbro logo in tacked - I had the white version as well but the felt logos dropped off that one
